I am Applying for a DTV in the US. For proof of where I am currently living, does anyone know if a bank statement for where i currently reside would be adequate? My Driver Licensee is out of the area for Thai Consulate that I will be applying, so I hope thats not going to hinder the process. Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus among respondents is that a bank statement can be used as proof of residency for your DTV application at the Thai consulate. Other acceptable documents include utility bills, a driver's license, or any official documentation that shows your current address. It's recommended to check with your specific consulate for the most current procedures as some visa processing may have moved online.

Anything you have that shows your current address. A bill a bank statement. A drivers licence. A stamp in your passport. A boarding pass from a plane flight. A phone bill. Etc.

When I contacted the consulate, the officer told me that everything moved to online. They no longer issued visas. You might want to check with your consulate.

Everthing is done online, however you apply via the Thai Embassy/Consulate that serves where you reside. That Embassy/Consulate issues your evisa

our consulate is not issuing visas. We no longer apply online through the consulate, but to the main link from Thailand.

it’s a Evisa you idiot. You must apply in your own country and it will ask which is your nearest consulate

If you mean bank statement or utility bill statement, then yes, you can use it.

If you mean writing a statement then no, anyone can do that and lie. That is not any kind of proof of your current location.
