Hello! I contacted the Consulate in both Laos and Cambodia, neither of them came back with a clear reply to my question, hence I will ask here, the source of Infinite Wisdom :) . Regarding the financial statement, has anyone here presented a bank statement from a country different than Thailand? If so, is just the bank statement enough, printed out from the web page? Or does it require any additional rubber stamp? Thanks a lot in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the acceptance of bank statements from banks outside Thailand when applying for a visa, specifically the DTV visa. Participants confirm that many applicants utilize non-Thai bank statements due to the difficulty of obtaining a local bank account. It is advised to print the bank statement and ensure it meets the specific requirements of the embassy being applied to, which might include language translation and potential consulate stamping.

Most applicants use non-Thai banks, since it is quite hard to get a Thai bankaccount, without permanent longterm adress in Thailand.

Read the websites of the Embassy you will apply at for information about requirements / documents.

Most people applying for a DTV don't have a Thai bank account, and it is not a requirement.

Just print out your own bank and make sure to check how many months the embassy your applying at wants to see.
