I have a non o visa based on retirement. I'm looking at the recommended ins companies on the Thai pass site. There is an option of 15 day insurance, is that acceptable for my type of visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry revolves around the acceptability of a 15-day insurance policy while holding a NON-O visa based on retirement. Responses suggest that 15-day durations are generally not accepted, with a preference for at least 30 days of coverage, as mentioned in various community posts. It is further recommended to consider purchasing travel insurance from one's home country for better rates and coverage or to use an existing year-round health insurance certificate in Thailand.

You get away with any duration for Thailand Pass. Consider to buy travel insurance in your own country. Cheaper and better coverage.

Or if you already have health insurance in Thailand you can use the certificate from your ongoing year-round insurance.

Doubt you’d get away with 15. Seen many posts from people with 30 days and have been accepted.

it’s something like 60 days, but now it’s almost immediate acceptance so why bother that early.
