I am getting conflicting information on the internet so I would like to hear from those who know. I will be entering Thailand on Saturday with an OA visa and will not be able to reach the island where I will be living until Tuesday. I understand that within 24 hours I must report to the immigration office in the area where I live to file the TM 30 form. Other information specifies that I must file the TM 47 form up to 7 days before the 90 days expire. How exactly should I proceed? Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
When entering Thailand on an OA visa, you must have your property owner file a TM 30 report within 24 hours of your arrival. This is crucial as it notifies immigration of your residence. For the TM 47 form, which is required for the 90-day reporting, you have the flexibility of filing it between 14 days before and 7 days after the 90-day period begins. Your first 90-day report must be made in person at your local immigration office, while future filings can be done online if you remain in Thailand for 90 consecutive days. Remember to provide your most recent TM 30 during your 90-day reporting to avoid potential issues.

No worries, wherever you are staying will file a TM30, once you get to your home you get your landlord/self to file. The most recent always supercedes the previous. Your first 90 day report will always be in person at your local immigration office, you have 14 days before and up to 7 days after the due date to appear in person. Subsequent filings can be done online if you stay 90 consecutive days. You can file online between 14 and 7 days before the due date. From 6 days before till 7 days after you must go in person.

The owner of the property must report you within 24 hours to immigration. If you stay in a hotel they file a tm30 move to a new location new tm30, etc.

90day reporting is a separate form. They may want a copy of your most recent tm30 to prove you have been registered where you are staying. Be careful if to make sure the 90 report is filled out with the location of your most recent tm30 or the system may flag it.
