TLDR : Answer Summary
For your first 90-day report living in Bangkok on an OA Retirement Visa, you'll need to complete the TM47 form and ensure that the TM30 form has been filed by you or your landlord. It is crucial to visit the immigration office in person. Additionally, you should bring your passport and possibly other documents. Some users mentioned a potential fine for failure to file the TM30 on time.

Went to MTT with a mate last week to do his 90-day. He also had to do a TM30. This is the slip they gave him for required documents

they could have self filed following that post I made a long time ago,

most people get it wrong when they try it on their own :(

I’ve looked at posts on topics and can’t seem to find your post on how to file on my own. Also, in files, can’t find good copies of the 2 TM forms required for filing. Some files labeled as a form is not a form. Is there an Imigration web site to fill in the info and print and submit after 1st reporting period?

Some sites they want to charge to download a good PDF copy.

REPOST: Self File TM-30 BANGKOK ONLY.

This is the way you need to fill out the TM30 form if you are filing with NO documentation from your land lord

Your name goes at the top of the form, your address goes under it, then your address AGAIN as the address where the foreigner lives.

In the blank area at the bottom left hand side of the piece that they will tear off and give back to you write your address again.

On the second page (the table) put all your information.

You sign BOTH forms on the signature lines. Print the forms correctly. the first page is portrait orientation and second page is landscape orientation :O

Make copies of;

-lease

-data page of your passport

-visa (if you have one)

-extension (if you have one)

-entry stamp

-TM6 departure card

sign the copies of your passport stuff.

This is a way to file a TM30 in BANGKOK without any information from your land lord at all. <- (meaning you don't need their i/d, their house book listing, a power of attorney form with the 10 baht in tax stamps).

AFAIK: this ONLY works in Bangkok but I can say with 100% accuracy that it does work (y)

Tod. Agreed. I've always self filed for condos, cannot rely on vague landlords, vaguely saying "Yes, I'll do that".

you need to go to the "alternate" immigration office out at Muang Thong Thani here

You or your land lord should have filed a TM30 when you moved IN not just now when you're needing to do a 90 day report :/ They'll probably fine you 800baht for failure to file on time now when you go to file one.

:/ well
@Pa**
, I guess you will find out when you go to file the 90 day report (BUT there are reports they aren't asking for a TM30 receipt for your first 90 day report).

Definitely take your lease with you in case you DO have to file AND definitely read that post I made about how to self file a TM30 without anything from your land lord.

The TM30 is in the files section of the group.
