(I couldn’t find the question option)

On applying for COE..

I was denied for failure to upload flight info as proof of my stay being under 45 days.

I thought you were supposed to be pre-approved BEFORE uploading flight info?

There’s also no specific place to upload flight info or ASQ..

I just want to make sure I got it right before I buy my plane ticket...

I’m also on hold with the NY consulate right now hoping to get answers..

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on the COE application process after being denied for not uploading flight information, believing pre-approval should come before this step. Other users suggested there are designated fields for uploading necessary documents and advised to ensure proper submission to avoid denial.

Don't forget to click the little arrow icon too, when you upload each document

As I recall, there were fields to upload scans of both in the online COE application. The "denial" is standard, I think; it just prompts you to take that next step.
