TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus on how far in advance to apply for the Thailand Pass varies. It is suggested that vaccinated travelers should apply at least 30 days prior to their travel, while unvaccinated travelers need a negative PCR test 72 hours before arrival. Some users recommend at least 4 days for processing, but caution against waiting until the last minute, noting that processing times can change.

When I did ThaiPass in January it had taken 3 weeks. Things have changed and supposedly its more streamlined now but I would not wait until last minute.

I think 4 days is enough for a Thailand Pass (TP) but if your going in June and can wait you may not need a Thailand Pass (TP)

Also leave 1st June with Emirates
@Ric****
for a 3 week holiday. Just to be relaxed, I already made the Thailand Pass for 23th of June. I mean why wait. What I read concerning the removal of the Thailand Pass, is that the removal is planned for Thai nationals. 1 August also for foreigners. BUT these are only plans. Absolutely nothing sure yet. Have a good trip 😉

If vaccinated then 30 days prior (possibly more) would suffice. If not then you’ll need a negative PCR test 72 hours prior to arrival.

Most reports are that the ThailandPass confirmation is just a few hours these days.

fingers crossed. Many reports of people getting theirs within a few hours. Haven’t heard of any lengthy delays since you no longer need a hotel booking.

I've got only 72 hours between taking my test and flying to upload my pcr to test. Deduct time to get test and get results and I'll have about 40 hours. Let's hope they are on the ball processing the application.

with the new system it probably is. The old system could take anywhere from 1-15 days.

it's more the case that you can do it that far in advance and it now allows some leeway on your entry dates should your plans change

Thanks but if it only taking "a few hours" why would 30 days "suffice"?
