Hello,
Sorry this is a follow up question, if I were to travel back to the UK, on getting a new passport, would I be able to go through the same procedure to transfer my Visa at a consulate there before returning as I would as if I were doing so at an immigration office in Thailand?
Thanks in advance!
TLDR : Answer Summary
The transfer of Thai visa stamps cannot be done through the Thai embassy or consulate in the UK; you must return to Thailand and visit the immigration office where the visa was originally issued. It is important to carry both your old and new passports to Thailand, along with a letter from the UK Embassy requesting recognition of your new passport.
