Hi, anyone know what format is preferred for the family photos, when applying for the marriage visa extension. I read someone needed to print them on photo paper then attach them to a4 sheetw.
Also any details for the pics I need to know, dress, style etc. I know the rooms and places we need.
I'm doing it at Jomtien immigration, and have their info sheet but the office information doesn't give details on these specifics.
I'm trying to avoid getting sent away when we apply because the bank letters have to be from the day and it's all super time consuming. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a marriage visa extension in Thailand, specifically at Jomtien Immigration, it's essential to know the preferred format for family photos. While there is no universally strict requirement, several comments suggest printing the photos on standard A4 paper or regular photo paper. The recommended size is 4 x 6 inches, and photos should depict you and your partner together in various settings around your home, such as the living room or next to house address numbers. It's advisable to bring several photos (about 4 to 5), allowing the immigration officer to choose the suitable ones. Although different immigration offices may have varying levels of formality regarding photo presentation, using glossy paper is recommended when possible.
Just had mine downloaded off fone onto A4 paper..but use foto gloss paper if you can.it wasnt an option up here in the sticks of issan..but immo accepted them no problem..not sure about Jomtien immo, they can be fussy
Yep Krabi immigration told me a couple of years ago, don't bother with photographic paper just get em printed out onto normal paper had no problems with that
... not true, landscape or portrait is fine. I've always had a mixture of both and just did it again on Thursday. I also just print with normal colour printer onto standard A4 paper.
I usually tell people just print some 4X6 photos at a photo shop of you two standing in front of your address numbers, you two sitting on the sofa in the living room, sitting at the dining room table etc
Make them full body, (no selfie stick stuff) and just bring 4 or 5 photos the officer can choose from and let them pick out the ones they want to use.
Yes we had someone help us do a few the other day. Good full body shots, in front and around the condo and outside the building. They're a bit casual dress as I was wearing my coloured beach shorts ( with shirt on ofc), but hoping that won't be an issue.
definitely need to have the one in front of the numbers for your apt OR in front of the sign for your building, and the ones in the house (living room, kitchen,)
