Hi, anyone know what format is preferred for the family photos, when applying for the marriage visa extension. I read someone needed to print them on photo paper then attach them to a4 sheetw.

Also any details for the pics I need to know, dress, style etc. I know the rooms and places we need.

I'm doing it at Jomtien immigration, and have their info sheet but the office information doesn't give details on these specifics.

I'm trying to avoid getting sent away when we apply because the bank letters have to be from the day and it's all super time consuming. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a marriage visa extension in Thailand, it's important to know the preferred format for family photos. While some immigration offices, like Chiang Mai, require 6x4 landscape photos, others like Krabi and Chiang Rai have accepted printed photos on normal A4 paper. It's advised to include pictures of you and your spouse in various familiar settings, like in front of your house or sitting together in your living room. Dress in a casual but presentable manner, avoiding casual wear like beach clothing or selfies. Aim to provide several options for the immigration officer to choose from, ensuring that at least one photo includes your house number visibly in the background.

A4 coloured must show house in background with number and inside about 4 will do.

... not true, landscape or portrait is fine. I've always had a mixture of both and just did it again on Thursday. I also just print with normal colour printer onto standard A4 paper.

good point (y) from what I have seen you need to have them oriented landscape so you can glue TWO to an A4 paper one on top of the other

This is what I had read too, printed and glued to a4.

I usually tell people just print some 4X6 photos at a photo shop of you two standing in front of your address numbers, you two sitting on the sofa in the living room, sitting at the dining room table etc

Make them full body, (no selfie stick stuff) and just bring 4 or 5 photos the officer can choose from and let them pick out the ones they want to use.

Yes we had someone help us do a few the other day. Good full body shots, in front and around the condo and outside the building. They're a bit casual dress as I was wearing my coloured beach shorts ( with shirt on ofc), but hoping that won't be an issue.

definitely need to have the one in front of the numbers for your apt OR in front of the sign for your building, and the ones in the house (living room, kitchen,)

Yes have our door's official house number shown in one and the one out front of the building.
