Hi, I need a TM30 to get an extension of VE.

From the list of required documents how do I get a copy of the owners ID and my contract certified?

Also, do the owners of the hotel need to provide the imm database entry receipt as well as completing the tm30 form?

Any help would be appreciated!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post inquires about obtaining a TM30 for a visa extension, specifically how to get a certified copy of the owner's ID and contract. It also questions whether hotel owners need to provide the immigration database receipt alongside the TM30 form. Responses indicate that certification may not be necessary, and that hotels typically file TM30 online, providing a screenshot as proof, although some areas like Chiang Mai require a hard copy receipt.

fyi -- CM does not accept "Screenshot" provided by your Hotel/Residence, as documentation for any Extension. It IS satisfactory evidence you complied, BUT CM will require you to "convert" that to a hard-copy TM-30 Slip/Receipt, which can be done in the small office in the rear of the Airport Immig. Office.

No, that's Thailand -- as you should know. lol. (i.e. as everyone says, including you, every Office and every IO has their own rules).

ok. That’s weird.

You cannot extend a VO A, I hope you are on Visa Exempt entry and got a 45 day stamp

Never heard of the need to be certified. Signed by them is usually enough.

Hotels file a TM30 online. Ask for their screenshot of their filing of you. They can black out other guest details if they prefer.

bangkok laksi

Ok I don’t use that office but my guess is that’s just verbiage. Others who use it could confirm. Also most reports from Laksi say you don’t need a TM30 for an extension. That is unless you’ve had a whole slew of covid extensions and the like.

yes i have covid extensions. so to be clear i need the TM30 for completed by landlord. Screenshot of the entry. and rental agreement?

@Martin ******
if you’ve had agent extensions or Covid extensions from around the country then you probably will.

if all your Covid extensions were done in Bangkok then you may not even be asked for TM30. Ignore the certified bit. Just signed and not a blank lease agreement. Signed by the owner.

hi the hotel are saying they can only go back a month to see entry into imm database and that why the owner gave me the cert of residency. Do i do the TM30 at cw? will they accept the signed by owner cert of residency?

@Martin ******
Sorry. Not really sure for BKK. Others on here will know.

Should look like this. Depends on in office, web or app used.
