If I get DTV, than later on, I renew my passport, how do I secure the value of Visa if it's tied to the original passport number?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When you renew your passport after obtaining a Digital Tourist Visa (DTV), you can secure the value of your visa by carrying both your old and new passports. Visas are now issued electronically as PDFs; during entry or exit, present both the passport number from the old passport and the eVisa printout along with your new passport.
almost certainly you’ll need to show a copy of your original passport - or even that original passport - for the next 5 years on entry. The visa can’t be “transferred”.
Wow. So if you forget to do that, despite being an e-visa, you could be denied entry? Glad I still have a visa sticker - I just carry both passports, but really, with an e-visa they should just allow you to update your passport number online or something.
well there was alot of good feedback from others that did not know about the topic I talk about. So my post did make it's benefit for others. I'm most certainly sorry that you did no like post. I hope one day you wake up and forgive me for making the absolute worst possible post in Facebook history about visa in Thailand for foreigners trying to go to Thailand on dtv with all the goood information needed so the know how to enter on destination Thailand visa using a changed passport number from their original one and also would like to give you a cookie if you were able to read this entire sentence with out stopping or taking a breath of air because of my really long sentence I made to your reply. :)
