Hi everyone! I have a question about the DTV visa.

My passport will expire in the next 6 months, so I plan to get a new passport soon.

What should I do for the DTV visa process after I get the new passport?

Do I need to update or transfer the visa to the new passport?

If you don't have a DTV yet you should definitely wait until after you get a new passport. If you've already got, carry both so the IO can see the original and put the stamps in the new passport.

If you have an actual stamp in your passport and not a separate piece of paper or digital file you can have it transferred. If not carry both passports as suggested.

Carry both passports and a printout of your DTV visa. All new stamps will go into your new passport
