I am Italian and this year they extended the visa exemption from 30 to 60 days, I always came with a visa of 60 and then I extended it to immigration. I want to do 120 days this year what do you recommend?

TLDR : Answer Summary
An Italian citizen inquiring about staying in Thailand for 120 days can utilize the recent extension of the visa exemption from 30 to 60 days. It's suggested to arrive and obtain the 60-day stamp upon entry. To achieve the desired 120-day stay, a border bounce can be performed by exiting and re-entering Thailand to receive an additional 60-day stamp. This can be done via both land and air travel. Additionally, a 30-day extension may also be added at local immigration if needed before the border bounce.

Sei sicuro che anche via terra ti danno 60 giorni

You get 60 days visa exemption by both land and air, so you can just come and get 60 days without any visa and do a land border crossing in order to get additional 60 days.

It’s also possible to apply for a 30 days extension at your local immigration, so if you want to stay for 60 or 90 days before you do a border bounce it’s up to you.

Stavo valutando difatti se mi conviene provare a fare un visto o uscire e rientrare, quello che non capisco è se i 60 giorni li danno solo uscendo via aerea o anche via terra.

Arrive and get your 60 day stamp, then you can do a border bounce by leaving Thailand and returning to get an additional 60 day stamp.
