Hi guys,

I arrived in Bangkok on the 31st of May and left on the 10th of June. I had a 30-day stamp. I need to return to Thailand next week after backpacking; I'm currently in Vietnam. Should I apply for a tourist visa?

I hold an Italian passport.

Any advice is much appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, holding an Italian passport, inquires about the need for a tourist visa to return to Thailand after a recent trip that included a 30-day visa exemption. Comments suggest that the user can return under visa exemption for another 30 days or apply for a tourist visa for 60 days plus a possible extension.

Well done surviving the Vietnam traffic. You passed the test, you are now qualified to survive on any roads in Asia. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿคฃ

You can enter visa exempt again for 30 days (plus 30) or if you need longer get a tourist visa which would give you 60+30.
