TLDR : Answer Summary
Massimo from Italy is currently in Koh Phangan and is seeking information about making a border run as his 60-day visa will expire on June 30th and he plans to leave on July 28th. After previously crossing the border for a visa run earlier this year, he is asking if he can do another one and what the best options are for his situation. The comments suggest that since he only used one visa exemption this year, he may be able to do another border run successfully. Additionally, it's noted that he should be prepared with necessary documentation when re-entering Thailand.

then you need to exit/re-enter the country. IF you only got one 30 day visa exempt by land so far this year, you can bounce out and in by land and get one more 30 day entry. Then you can't enter by land for a 30 day visa exempt entry for the rest of the year.

Applying 30days extension for entry on tourist visa or visa exemption scheme at Samui immigration office would be the easiest. You are allowed Two entries in visa exemption by land per calendar year. Entry on actual tourist visa doesn’t count for this.

check for samui companies. they will pick you up, drive you to the malaysia border, you cross and bounce back and get back in the minivan. used to cost around 2000 thb and takes one day.

Do you have a real Thai Tourist Visa in your passport? Or did you get a 30 days Exempt on Arrival when you first entered Thailand and got a 30 days Extension of Stay at the Thai Immigration office? I assume you carry an Italian passport.

Massimo Leotta so you need to make one border run. Be sure you carry 20,000 Thai baht plus your planned address in Thailand and your confirmed trip out of Thailand...to show Thai Immigration if you are asked. As to which border, lets see what others suggest. Some borders are more difficult vs others with back to back entries.
