TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK resident is seeking advice on how to return to Thailand for their daughter's 21st birthday, mentioning they only have photocopies of her birth certificate. Community members inquire about the daughter's nationality and the father's legal status, suggest contacting the embassy for assistance, and express hopes for a successful return despite ongoing restrictions. The conversation also lightly touches on the humorous alias used by the poster, some responses about staying safe during the pandemic, and a hint of personal experiences.
Hello Tom Jones. It's not unusual for you to want to return home. Especially for your daughter's 21st birthday since she's a lady now. I wish you luck.
was only asking if anyone knew of a broker in UK who could help with paperwork, think should have thought of better name then Tom Jones as an alias though ,think will have to leave it till Thailand opens its doors again?
Tom Jones . Get in contact with the embassy quickly then.. and have your fingers crossed that you will be allowed to enter.. Lots of restrictions at the moment here.
then you are eligible to apply for a certificate of entry through the embassy in London. You don’t need an agency to help. There are lots of hoops to jump through but it’s certainly possible. If they need a original birth certificate your wife/daughter can courier one out to you
