I am due to have our baby any week now. My partner is Thai but we are not married yet. Our baby will have dual citizenship (thai/american). I do not have the money in my thai account for a non o visa yet. I am currently working and have a non b visa. If I choose to cancel my visa and go home for the summer do you think I'd have an issue coming back to Thailand on a tourist visa with the baby?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is due to have a baby in Thailand and is concerned about the implications of canceling their Non-B visa before traveling home for the summer. They inquire about potential issues re-entering Thailand on a tourist visa with their Thai-American baby. Several commenters reassure the user that, after canceling their Non-B visa, they will not face any issues re-entering Thailand with their baby, suggesting options such as a visa exemption stamp or a 60-day tourist visa.

Okay people and this was why I just messaged her the answers about her question and had denied letting the post on
I knew every Tom, Dick and Somchai was gonna weigh in how that IF she got married she could get a marriage visa <- which is true
BUT
isn't what she asked AT ALL,.
She's not asking how to get a long term visa
She's not asking if she'll have issues getting OUT of thailand
She's ASKING will she have issues getting IN to the country after being on a Non-B extension that is cancelled and comin' back in with her half/thai baby and that answer is a definite NO, she will not
Thanx one and all for the comments, I would say we are done (y)

If you get married to your Thai boyfriend you don't need any banked money to get the Non-O visa inside Thailand
stick to the topic at hand, I'm sure they KNOW they can get married, That's not the question

Nope once you cancel your current extension and stamp out of the country you will have NO issues at all getting back in ๐
You can come in on a 30 day visa exempt free entry stamp OR on a real 60 day tourist visa entry stamp OR even a 90 day Non-O visa based on visiting thai family
The last two visas you buy online using the eVisa website before you come back and they email you the PDF that is your visa
Sincerely good luck and safe travels
