ORIGINAL POSTERI applied for the LTR visa November 13th and it went from "pending" to "Consideration by Government Agencies" about 2 weeks ago. I did not get an email so I was curious if I need to reach out to anyone at this point. My wife and kids are planning renewing their EDU / Guardian visas in January if we do not hear back. Has anyone applied for the new LTR visa recently? I am not working in Thailand, I spend time with my family here and then fly to SEA & ME&A for work.

Very interesting - can you please tell me what process was followed for chidrens ED visas and your wife as a dependant - i am currently in Thailand and our cambodian 4 yr old child has now enrolled in school here. Her cambodian mother is here on a tourist visa. I was hoping to get the child an ED visa and her mother a dependants visa. Nothing is straight forward at the moment as they have stopped issuing ED visas but unsure of this includes foreign national school children.

I was denied specifically because with my job (airline pilot) I work very little out of BKK airport. So if you're u do not work completely from thailand they will deny. Though I'm highly suspicious they wanted a bribe.
