TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on obtaining a TM30 and address certificate for an education visa from Chiang Mai, despite not currently residing there. They plan to visit Chiang Mai next week to submit the paperwork and are looking for suggestions on landlords, hostels, or hotels that could assist with the TM30 and address certificate.

Well IF you're going there next week to turn in the paperwork how about checking into a guest house or hotel for a night because they'll do a TM30 for you and you can have them print it out and then turn it in. Once you do move there you can file a new TM30 for where ever it is you're gonna live.

yess that’s what I was going to do, but wanted to streamline the process to go directly to any places that people have had good experiences at, recommendations of hotels and hostels that people might know the owners to be really friendly ...

you can contact and very friendly helpful people, you gonna love that place. Next to them is the best Thai restaurant in a classic Lanna house also.

I haven't stayed there or used it but Hub53 CoLiving are promoting discounted stays and they speak great English and would, presumably, be sympathetic to what you need to do (both of which I'd say is crucial). Personally I'd message them and see what they say.

You could also ask in the CNX Digital Nomads FB group.

Why not just rent a v cheap room for a couple of months? There are some incredibly low prices atm. I think it's highly unlikely you'll find someone to just 'put you down' for those, they could land themselves in a lot of trouble. Visa agent might be able to help?

I don't get it. Why do you need an address in chiang mai to apply to a school?

because they enrolled in a school that is getting them the "special fee" inside the country Non-ED visa issued under the table BUT by the immigration office and you have to show you live in Chiang Mai to do it. Without that TM30 stating you stay in C/M they won't process the visa ;)

is that more legit than the volunteer visa? πŸ™‚
