Hi all,

I am currently in Bangkok with 30 days extension. Beside the U.S, can I travel to other country in Asia such as Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Vietnam, etc., to apply for 1 year Non-O multiple entry for US passport holder?

Thank you all!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about traveling to other Asian countries like Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, and Vietnam from Bangkok to apply for a 1-year Non-O multiple entry visa, specifically for US passport holders. Responses indicate that Laos is commonly chosen for such visa applications, with Vietnam also mentioned as an option. It was advised to check embassy websites for requirements and appointment needs.

So Sanannakhet is your best option as stated above, takes 2 days, no appointment

Most people go to Laos for it. Vietnam is an option also. You need to check the embassy websites to see their requirements and if you have to make an appointment

I checked out laos website in Vientiane but it seems that they only offer single Non-O entry. Has anyone recently applied and got approved for Multiple Non-O Entry. I've read somewhere a while back that you can simply write Multiple Entry on the application for Single Entry?

it’s the consulate at Savannakhet that do the multiple entry year visa for 5,000 baht. Just write multiple on the application form and hand over 5k.

HCMC are the other consulate that issues them. I don’t know the procedure or price for there though as I really only see posts from people using Savannakhet
