Hello,

I forgot to file my 90 day report. Did anyone have a same experience? I was supposed to file it almost a month ago but didn’t realize how long it has been and now I am leaving this weekend. Will there be a problem at the border? Or should I go to immigration and try to do the report before that?

Thank you!
Answer summary
The user has forgotten to file their 90-day report in Thailand before leaving the country and is seeking advice on whether this will cause problems at the border and if they should go to immigration to file the report before departure. Comments suggest that typically, there will be no issues at the border when leaving, and if caught later, a fine of up to ฿2000 may be imposed for the overdue report. It is recommended to file the report and pay any fines at immigration at the earliest opportunity.

Just leave Thailand as planned. There will be no problem on the border immigration.

Don’t forget to do the 90 day report next time.

@ANONYMOUS you most probably get a fine of ฿2000.

Just pay and everything is good again

Nothing will happen if you go thru an airport, you’ll be fine. It’s not an overstay. When you come back, the 90 days will start again.

The border immigration officers won't care if you've done a report or not. You might get a fine if the immigration officer notices the next time you visit an immigration office inside Thailand

I have been fined for a late TM47 and for no TM30. I was getting a visa extension and the IO directed me to the counters to pay a fine before they would process any further.

There will not be a problem when you leave, and when you return, the 90-day period will reset

You guessing or your experience? My experience is that it will not be a problem

I not say it is always causing problems, sometimes people get fined, sometimes they do not get fined.

Fact is that everything is registered, and there is no such thing as remission of an offense upon leaving the country.

When you exit or enter the country they will not check, but a visit at an Immigration office, they just might check.

You wont be asked at the border about a 90 day report.

If you have an overdue 90-Day Report, you won't be able to file another until you go in person and pay the fine. You will also need to pay this fine before completing any other immigration services, such as requesting a Certificate of Residence or an extension. They only accept cash.

There are three reminders I recommend all people put in their phone.

1) tdac

2) tm30

3) 90-day

Take a pic of current stamp and put in favorites or other govt stuff album.

Life changing? No.

Helpful? Yes.

before each 90-day report the immigration sends a letter out to your last known address to remind you of the reporting date

You should be okay if you leave, if they ask what happened. Just say sorry and pay the fine if there is one
