At Chaengwattana this morning to apply for extension for Non O visa, based on marriage. 45 minutes from opening time until we left with under consideration stamp.
Photos with and without mask acceptable... Officer queried whether the pics were recent because nothing had changed from last years pics. Memo to self, move things around room a bit for next time.
Also 5 separate forms to complete to accompany documents.
Thanks for all the advice..

TLDR : Answer Summary
Today, I applied for an extension of my Non-O visa based on marriage at Chaengwattana. The process took about 45 minutes, and I received an 'under consideration' stamp. I learned that both masked and unmasked photos are acceptable, but they inquired if my pictures were recent, so I plan to change the background next time. Additionally, I had to fill out five separate forms to accompany my documents. I appreciate all the advice shared on this topic.

My (unsolicited) advice is to look into PR/ citizenship. Being a foreign FEMALE married to a Thai MALE is the quickest route to PR/ citizenship. That way you won't have to do any more extension of stays ๐

I have to have a certain number of nonO extensions, is that right? Certainly looking towards that!
BEFORE YOU ASK... remember that Jane is a woman, and the requirements for a one year extension of stay based on being married to a MALE Thai national is different then a one year extension of stay based on being married to a FEMALE Thai national.

We were very blatant with photos for 5 years in row - the same poses, the same location, the same setup. No complaints :)

How strict about photos depends on the Immigration office.
