Hello every one! My passport is visa-free for 60 days in Thailand. After 60 days I want to extend it at the immigration. I don't know if I travel without a visa, how can I extend? I hope everyone will answer me. 😊

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the process of extending a stay in Thailand when arriving visa-free for 60 days. Community responses indicate that extensions can be done at a local immigration office for 1900 THB, and there are alternatives like visa runs to nearby borders which can reset the stay period.

No agent needed. Best and cheapest service is your local Immigration Office.

why? She ask about extension and she can do that at a local immigration office, cost 1900thb.

I understand. I'm aware there are many other options. I was just offering one suggestion.

Pay around 4500 Bhat to a visa service. They will drive you too Cambodia border. Zero questions asked on both sides. Only passport required.

Thai friendly

is one of many companies that do a visa/border run.

You meet at the pick up point at 4.00am they drive you to the border. You quickly stamp out, then stamp immediately back in. Then back in Bangkok for around 2.00pm.

Super easy and it resets your 60 days.

Hope this helps. 👍

Actually, I understand his good intentions. But there's too much money to worry about. And I agree with you.So I’ll choose to save money as much as possible 😊

Really thank you for your advice when asking the agent 😊. But I will choose to research information and prepare documents to reduce costs as much as possible 😌

@Van ****
yes no need for agents if you just want 30 days.

As the other people suggested just go to immigration with your documents and you will get another 30 days for 1900 bhat. Good luck.

@Alex ******
wow 😮. No need for name calling. It's a solid choice for the OP. No reason for you to be salty.

You are giving people bad advice when you don't really know how things work here. Don't worry you are not alone, there are plenty of idiots commenting wrong advice here...
William ********
@Alex ******
why you being so salty bro.

I was just offering a suggestion.

Personally I do border runs because they give 60 day extensions.

The visit to immigration only gets you 30 days.

As I'm sure you know the 30-day extension is a very easy process and only costs 1,900 Bhat.

The reason for the agents is the convenience.

No chance of refusal at the border.

No need to board two flights just for the 60 day visa.

Hundreds of people do the visa run every day just for this extra 60 days.

So don't know why you're crying saying it's bad advice it's just a suggestion bro.

If you don't like it feel free to just move on with your life. no need to be posting salty comments.

I noticed you didn't post any helpful suggestions.

Also for lots of people money is not an issue.

So paying 4,500 baht is nothing for a 2-month visa.

But as the op has said. If on a budget then best to do the 30-day extension at the immigration office.

Well I didn't like you suggesting an expensive border run when all the girl asked was if she can go to immigration and do 30 days, which in itself could give more problems than you realise. Maybe you were just giving a different view, but it's confusing to people who are not sure about their own countries requirements to extend the visa here. So I apologise and we'll leave it there 🤝
William ********
@Alex ******
that's the price I paid, I am sure it's cheaper for the op it depends on the passport.

Really 4500 is expensive ? I wasn't aware this was considered a high price. Maybe I am mistaken but it's the cheapest border run from Bangkok.

Anyway I appreciate your apology. All the best to you
Alex *******
@William *******
You shouldn't give advice like this. People are genuinely confused and ask for help and morons like you tell them to spend 4500 and leave the country. If you don't know the answer then don't say anything. Idiot!
Alex *******
@Rick *******
The girl was asking can she extend it at immigration and you are sending her to a different country with a visa agent. 4500 would get you a return flight from Thailand.
William ********
@Rick *******
Yes thank you Rick

You get a stamp in your passport on arrival not a Visa. That stamp is what you use to get the extra 30 days

I need photocopies of my passport, photos, hotel. Do I need to prepare any additional documents? How much does it cost? And do I submit online or come to immigration ?

I saw information that Thailand will use automatic doors. If I use an automatic door, how will I get a stamp? 😅
