Hello everyone. I got a 60+30 days tourist visa.

60 days are almost gone and I need to get the last 30 days. Before covid I was used to cross in Mae sai border and get the stamp.

Does anybody know if that border is open?

If not, is it easy to do it in Chiang Mai immigration?

Anything I need to know if I should do it in this way?

Such as, if there are still long queues?, better going a day before expiration date?

Do I need a covid test? :/

Can't find anything online.

Thank you in advance πŸ™ and happy songkran!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on extending their 60-day tourist visa after the initial period is nearly over. They reflect on previous experiences of crossing at the Mae Sai border for a stamp but need current information regarding its status and alternatives like Chiang Mai immigration. Comments from the community suggest that the local immigration office can provide a 30-day extension, noting that all offices are closed for the Songkran festival and will reopen on April 18. Additionally, it is indicated that there are no land borders open in North Thailand.
