Hello Guys. I am coming up to the 60 days of my 90 day single entry tourist visa. Can I get the extention of 30 days by going to the mayanmar boarder from Chiang Rai. Or do I have to go to Chiang Mai immigration. Is there an option to extend from Chiang Rai. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about extending their 90-day single entry tourist visa as they approach the end of their 60-day period. They ask if they can extend their visa by traveling to the Myanmar border from Chiang Rai or if they must go to the immigration office in Chiang Mai. Comments clarify that extensions must be processed at an immigration office, with options available in both Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai, and that border checkpoints do not offer visa extensions.

You don't extend a SETV at a border checkpoint. Go to the nearest Immigration office.

You get an Extension of Stay at an Immigration Office, there is one in Chang Rai and there is one in Chang Mai.
