I have a single entry (90 day) none o visa based on having a british citizen son at a paid school here (my son was born in Thailand and has both a UK & Thai passport) it runs out in January, the visa was issued from my home town of Hull in the UK from via Thai consulate done online, what are my options in regards to extending my none o single entry visa? Is I’m that even possible? Or is it a case of flying back to the uk and getting another every 3 months? I did email the Hull Thai consulate yet unfortunately they could not give me any solid advice although did send me a copy of all the documents sent from my visa application, i am told by some I can extend by 60 days in Thailand, if so can I do that at any immigration office or does it have to be a certain one such as where my son is registered as living? thanks in advance for any advice
TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual inquiring about their single entry Non-O visa has a few options for extension based on their situation with a British citizen son enrolled in a Thai school. They can apply for a 60-day extension at their local immigration office, provided they meet financial requirements. If they qualify as a legal father through the Thai family court or Amphur, they may also apply for a one-year extension based on having Thai family members. Alternatively, they could complete a visa run to a nearby country to obtain a new visa.
