Good morning amigos,

I came into Thailand on a non immigrant type o spouse visa which i first extended for 60 days and later changed for a 1 year retirement extension.

If i am abroad when the time comes to re-new my retirement extension can i just leave it and apply for a new non immigrant type o spouse visa in my own country before i come back? Or should i take any other actions?

Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on whether they can let their Retirement Visa Extension expire while abroad and subsequently apply for a Non-Immigrant Type O Spouse Visa in their home country, rather than renewing their extension while in Thailand.
