Can somebody tell me about the current visa extension process to get an extra 30 days for my 60 day tourist visa?

I am reading conflicting things. Is it still at Promenada or did they move back to the Airport? Is it fine to arrive at 11ish or do I now have to queue up at 3AM?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The process for extending a 60-day tourist visa in Chiang Mai involves visiting the Chiangmai Provincial Immigration Office, located near the airport at 71 ถนนสนามบิน, Amphoe Mueang Chiang Mai, with a fee of 1900 THB and required documents such as passport copies, photos, and the application form. It's recommended to arrive early to avoid long queues, though the process is not reliant on arriving as early as 3 AM. Confusion persists regarding the office's location and procedures, so contacting the office directly for clarification is advisable.

As answers are more than once given. I say we done what we could do. Good luck with the search to this office if you don't trust the information, we are not here to guide you hand in hand to an office. I close the commenting.

Take:

Copy of all passport pages, sign each page.

Two 4x6 passport photos -- blue background.

A pen.

1900THB.

A book or extra battery pack.

Arrive as early as you reasonably can. Get the form there and fill it out.

Take all the items to one of the two interns at the wooden desk.

Get the numbered ticket in exchange.

Wait and have coffee at any of the close-by establishments, checking every 15 to 20 minutes for your number by peering through the glass.

Ask

So where is it now? And what about the rumours that you now have to start waiting in line in the middle of the nights to be served that day?

Immigration in Chang Mai changed location, not the Immigration rules or process.

Copy of your passport and date of entry to Thailand. The current place your stay as your address. A passport photo for the application. Then 1,900 baht.
