Hi y'll. I want to change a retirement O-A in a DTV. In country right now and got a little bored. Tested e-commerce and liked it. Want to work remote from here. I do not have a fancy portfolio.

How does the document needs to look? Am I really writing a statement for myself that I want to wrk in Thailand remote and that I do not sell goods in Thailand?

What other proof do I need to provide if I just started digging into e-commerce.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is looking to change their retirement Non-O-A visa to a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) to work remotely in Thailand. They are unsure about the documentation required and if they need to state that they will not sell goods in Thailand. Comments highlight that they must wait until their Non-O-A visa expires to apply for a new visa and suggest that presenting a portfolio and income proof may be necessary if they pursue this visa switch.

If you’re not selling in Thailand, just treat this new passion as a hobby. Once you’re actually making steady money, then go and change the visa. Nobody said you can’t have your own website when retired in Thailand.

You have 2 issues at least. You can't apply for another visa until your Non-OA visa expires as you can't hold 2 visas at the same time. You will need a portfolio showcasing your ecommerce portfolio, income can also be a factor as you can be asked to show how you will maintain yourself. Still the remaining time on your Non-OA may be enough to build a decent portfolio
