I am planning to switch from Non-B to DTV , need some insight if anyone has done this or understand the process or can offer me service  

- I am the Director of my own company - current visa expires soon, that’s when im planning to apply for DTV 

- my plan to travel more and flexible visa option . Initially I like to sign up for cooking class and apply with soft power. 

👉Main question: 

- Do i need to cancel current visa first before i leave Thailand or i can go outsdie of thailand and apply for new visa type DTV  - incase DTV doesn’t get approved still can come back to Thailand and process the Non- B? 

Any expert here to understand this and guide me please ? Thank you

No need to cancel your visa. Just leave the country without a reentry permit, and your visa will get cancelled by itself.

If you hold a valid visa you cannot apply until it expires of canceled then you’ll have a problem as your going with soft power good luck

Close your company, cancel both your work permit and extension of stay, leave Thailand and apply for the DTV
