What should I prepare when re-entering Thailand on a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV)?

2nd DTV Entry - DMK Airport ✅

I returned to Thailand today after my first 6 months on the DTV (short 3 day holiday in Vietnam as opposed to a visa run) - quick and easy but did have to briefly show a document that supported my remote work

The immigration officer asked what category I applied under for the visa - I answered remote working for a UK company - they asked “can you show me a document you applied with”

I believe this was to show I was working for a non-Thai company.

I just showed some payslips (on my phone) that have the name of the company on as they asked to see the company name - this was enough for them and they stamped me in.

This only took 2 minutes or so but I would advise for those re-entering just have some form of document at hand to show at immigration.

I am sharing this as my first entry they just looked at my visa and stamped me in right away - this was nothing to worry about and they didn’t question me any further. They are just doing their job.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The author shares their experience re-entering Thailand on a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) after a brief holiday in Vietnam. They reported a smooth process but were asked by immigration to provide proof of their employment, which they fulfilled by showing payslips from their UK company. This anecdote suggests that having documentation readily available can streamline entry, especially when re-entering on a DTV, as customs procedures may vary.

More of that anonymous BS. Over 5 entries into DMK and I've NEVER been asked to show anything "that I applied with". That's absurd.

Troll post IMHO. ‘Anonymous participant’ trying to unsettle those who believe once they hold their DTV they’re OK for 5 years. Issuing criteria isn’t consistent therefore IO’s wouldn’t challenge.
