Various participants share their experiences and concerns about proving income derived from trading activities. Nope, funds must be in your bank. The amount of crypto you have isnā€™t the relevant part

I already set everything up to show my checking or savings account but I figured this was a good detail to ask about for others reading threw this post

do you have a company set up for your trading? Like what sort of structure did you approach them with?

I've been trying to figure out how to approach my own DTV application and would love to know how you did it.

I enquired but I donā€™t think itā€™s possible, you canā€™t show income or your own business. Although Iā€™m rich in digital world I canā€™t use it in the real world šŸ¤£ but would love to hear from other people if they managed. I just asked an agent FYI didnā€™t go to deep into it as I ended up getting a business visa in the end.

Youā€™re confusing assets with income. A change in trading account balance is not income. If you move money monthly to your business account and can show regular deposits, thatā€™s income and theyā€™ll allow it for DTV.

Anonymous participant the Thai govt will want to see a real business with real income. If you canā€™t spend your digital

assets, they will wonder how you could support yourself
Tai **********
@Brian ********
the thing is you can spend it, they even exchange crypto for THB here in exchange places. They are crypto friendly till a certain extend.

@Tai *********
you mean physical exchanges like tt etc change crypto for cash? If so which ones?
Brian *********
@Tai *********
but it isnā€™t a job and doesnā€™t generate income. And has low predictability
