TLDR : Answer Summary
This discussion revolves around the possibility of obtaining a DTV Visa in Thailand for cryptocurrency traders. Various participants share their experiences and concerns about proving income derived from trading activities. Key points include the necessity of having verifiable income through bank statements or broker accounts and the distinction between assets and income. Some advise on alternative visa options, while others question the recognition of cryptocurrency trading as legitimate income for visa purposes.
I already set everything up to show my checking or savings account but I figured this was a good detail to ask about for others reading threw this post
I enquired but I don’t think it’s possible, you can’t show income or your own business. Although I’m rich in digital world I can’t use it in the real world 🤣 but would love to hear from other people if they managed. I just asked an agent FYI didn’t go to deep into it as I ended up getting a business visa in the end.
You’re confusing assets with income. A change in trading account balance is not income. If you move money monthly to your business account and can show regular deposits, that’s income and they’ll allow it for DTV.
