Hello all. I went to immigration today to apply for a 30 day extension, and it seems my previous employer never cancelled my old visa. My contract ended on July 30, but the visa is still valid until September 30. Do any of you know how one could cancel a non-imm B?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is facing an issue where their old Non-Immigrant B visa has not been cancelled by their previous employer despite their contract ending. To resolve this, they need to gather paperwork such as termination documents and proof of work permit cancellation from their former employer and the ministry of labor. Once they have these documents, they can visit the immigration office to cancel the old visa. It's important to note that the cancellation of the visa should be done to avoid potential fines for any overstay.
