OK Managed to get a non-Imm-B SIngle entry 3mth visa. What do I need to do to apply for a work permit? What are the steps and processes? How do I extend my non-Imm-B without leaving the country and or get multiple entry? Is there an official link?

TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a work permit in Thailand with a Non-Imm-B visa, you need to gather documentation from your employer and submit it to the Ministry of Labour. After receiving your work permit, visit an immigration office with additional documents from your employer to apply for a one-year extension of stay, which may take up to 30 days to be processed. Once you have the extension, you can then apply for a multiple re-entry permit. Note that a multiple entry permit does not extend your initial visa period.

Now you take documentation from your employer to the Ministry of Labour and apply for a work permit. Then once you get the work permit you go to the immigration office with a pile of documentation from your employer and apply for a year extension of stay, it sometimes goes under consideration for 30 days before you get the year extension inked into your passport. ONCE you have the year extension THEN you can buy a multiple re-entry permit and come and go all you want for the year

you can apply for the yearly extension of stay at the immigration office when you have 30 days or less left on the current 90 day entry stamp you got when you came into the country.

You've got some time to get the documents together and get the work permit sorted out.

Good Luck (y) At least you got the 90 day Non-B, and that's the first step.

Thanks That is what I am trying to work out. A bit convoluted. Thanks again. I asked about applying for one year multiple entry but the consulate sad it was not necessary

okay you're NOT gonna get a multiple entry :/ That wouldn't extend your 90 days by even a single day

OK. I was told by consulate that it apply f9or a new visa once you are issued a work permit. Not sure what the process is.
