Hello, I saw we had to apply for a DTV outside Thailand but I had to come before my Visa was accepted. Is it ok if I submit a Thailand to Malaysia and Malaysia to Thailand ticket return flight ? I want to avoid they say I'm in Thailand when I applied for the Visa and refuse it.
I saw one way ticket was ok and I am hesitating to buy a one way ticket from Malaysia to Thailand instead.
Thx

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about applying for a DTV visa from Malaysia while currently being in Thailand without an approved visa. They are considering submitting a return ticket from Thailand to Malaysia to prove their location during the application process, fearing that being in Thailand might lead to visa denial. Comments from the community emphasize the importance of applying outside the country and providing proof of location, stating that authorities may require documentation that confirms the user's presence in Malaysia.
Why would you submit airline tickets, were you asked for proof of location already?
Just to be clear, you applied in Malaysia already and entered Thailand without the DTV being approved? Have you been asked to submit proof of location yet? When did you apply, when did you enter Thailand?
You will be asked for proof that you are in Malaysia during the application. If you are in Thailand, you won't be able to provide that and your application will be denied.
