Hi everyone, I am currently in Bangkok on 30-day visa exempt. I am planning on doing the 30-day extension. I thought that my visa expires on 22 Sep. However, itโ€™s actually tomorrow 20th Sep. I tried to make an appointment on the immigration website but it stated that thereโ€™s no available time tomorrow and the next available day is 21st.

Is it possible for me to go to immigration tomorrow without an appointment? Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently in Bangkok on a 30-day visa exempt and is seeking to extend it by another 30 days. They mistakenly thought their visa expiration date was the 22nd of September but learned it's actually the 20th. They are inquiring whether they can visit the immigration office the next day without an appointment, as the online system shows no availability for the 20th.

So, you entered Thailand on visa-exempt. You are going to go to IT Square Laksi Plaza temporary office, not Chaengwattana. It's located just next to Lak Si station on SRT Dark Red Line.

You will go here.

Both IT Square Laksi office and Chaengwattana office accept walk-ins without pre-booking no problem.

Here is general information for tourism extension. Bangkok usually doesn't ask for TM30 receipt for tourism extension, but you have to provide the address inside Bangkok.

I thought they didn't extend visa-exempt (or visa on arrival) entries?

Russell Kamil Uli I am confused also- Iโ€™m Canadian and was told by the Thai embassy you cannot extend a 45 day visa exempt but I keep seeing people saying that it is possible. Does anyone have clarity on this?! Thank you! ๐Ÿ’•

, entry on visa exempt scheme will be 45 days from 1st Oct 2022 to 31st Mar 2023. And itโ€™s definitely eligible for 30 days tourism extension.

I believe you are confusing the different types of entry stamps ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
