Looking to see if anyone has had their DTV approved by only having the funds in their account for less than 2-3 months.
I've heard people being approved after a week applying from Taipei.
I'll be applying from London and would love to hear other people's experiences. Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around experiences with obtaining the Thai DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) and the requirement regarding the duration funds need to be in the bank account before applying. While some users have reported being approved with funds held for only a day or two, others suggest waiting at least three months to ensure approval. Observations indicate that policies may vary by country, with different experiences shared from London, Hanoi, and Denmark.
When I applied a year ago in Denmark, 1 day. Now it's 1 month statement in Denmark

Literally a day for mine (I moved money from another acc.). Seems to me that they only care you have the funds. - That's for my savings acc. Wasn't required to provide my monthly statements/income. Just the self employment documentation on top of it.
Ho Chi Mihh told me - 6 months of statements and a separate statement showing closing balance of 500K. Not necessary to keep 500K throughout the 6 month period. For Laos - it is necessary.
I did read it. Three times in fact. You weren't clear. You just said you deposited the funds on the day of the application and that you showed three months worth of statements.
You didn't say what amounts the statements showed which is very relevant to my question.
What's the point in showing three months if they didn't have the right funds? That's what I was querying.
You need you read your original comment. It's not clear at all and there's no need to be rude when you were the one who was vague.

Every embassy has different requirements and policies change over time. Best to apply after you've had it in your account for 3 months just in case others have gotten it with less but you are not as lucky

Anonymous participant 264 yes I was wondering about that and how one can reapply after if rejected for not having it long enough.
"Flexibility in Some Cases: Some embassies may not require the funds to be held for an extended period before the application. For example, the Thai Embassy in London has been known to accept applications where the money was transferred just before the application, without a 3-6 month requirement. "
If you want to roll the dice and apply with less than 3 months bank account statements... it's up to you...
It's your $$$.

Use the group search function and type in "months". You should see a bunch of people reporting on their experiences.
