Hi everyone,

I’m planning to apply online for the new DTV visa (from the Thai embassy website), and I have a question regarding the financial requirement.

Do I necessarily need to show proof of funds over the last 3 months (15,000 EUR or 500,000 THB), or would it be enough if I just received a transfer now and can show the amount only for the most recent month?

Has anyone here applied and could share their experience?

Btw I’m French et will applied from France but online 

The purpose of my DTV application is to work remotely from Thailand as my company is registered in France

Recently they started to ask to have 15k€ for 3 months. 2024 and Beginning 2025 you could have 15k€ for 1hr on your bank account and apply 🥲

For the French Ambassy, it's clearly written on the officiel website that they want 3 months of bank statement showing the 15k

Every embassy has its own requirements (i.e. in Belgium you need 15k euros, so a bit more than 500k bahts), check on your embassy's website.

I had the 500k bhat in the last month, but provided 6 months of statements. Was approved for Muay Thai in Hanoi, Vietnam. Unfortunately, I don't know the specific requirements for French Consolate. Be sure to have a letter from your superior specifically stating that you have permission to work from Thailand.
