TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry is about the necessity of translating Thai documents before sending them to the Thai embassy in London. Comments reveal that, based on direct communication with the embassy, documents in Thai are acceptable and do not require translation into English.

I've just talked to the embassy and they don't need translating. Thai or English is fine.

Nearly all admin/Consular services staff are English Obviously the Ambassador is Thai and probably a few of his aids too. Same set up as the British Embassy in Thailand, all admin staff are Thai.
