Does submitting a new TM30 count as a 90-day report for expats in Thailand?

Hi all. Hope all is well. There was a post earlier about the screenshot of the tm30 submitted being sufficient to keep in your passport. My new lanlord has done the same, and I have the screenshot.

My question is, does the submitting of a new TM30 counts as 90 day report? Will the 90 day start fresh from the date the new TM30 was submitted? Tia

TLDR : Answer Summary
A TM30 and a 90-day report are separate requirements in Thailand. Submitting a TM30 does not replace the requirement for a 90-day report, which must be filed if you are on a long-term visa or have been in Thailand for 90 days or more.

The TM30 and the 90 day reports are completely different systems.

The TM30 MUST be filed no later than one business day after you arrive at a location for some immigration.

A 90 day report MUST be filed if you are on an extension of stay/ entry stamp that is valid for more then 90 days, OR if you are physically in Thailand for 90 days or more. ASK your immigration office what the policy is.

24 business hours, that's the first time I have seen the lodgement of the TM30 explained that way.
