Good day everyone! I need information regarding my wife's visa extension. She is living with me with Non-O (1 year extension).
As she is on dependent visa, does she has to submit Tax Return file to extend the visa? She is not working here. Last year Immigration in Samut Prakarn didn't ask any tax paper while renewing 1 year extension for her, only my tax documents.
Your cooperation is highly appreciated.
Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about whether their wife, who is on a Non-O dependent visa, needs to submit a tax return for her visa extension. Previous experience at the immigration office did not require tax documents from her, only from the primary visa holder. A comment suggested that tax documents may not be necessary for her extension as she is a trailing spouse, but it may be prudent to verify with the immigration office to ensure compliance.

she is only getting an extension based on being married to you because you hold a yearly extension and legally work here. SO I would say no BUT they might want to see that you DO legally work here, so it could be maybe... :/
I would go to the Samut Prakan immigration office and get the hand out they have OR have your company call them to check the list of documents she needs to get the extension matching yours based on being a "trailing spouse".
Thank you for the information. Last year, they just asked for regular documents along with marriage certificate. Nothing else. I hope it's same now. I will tell my company to check on this. And if you also have any update, it will be really helpful if you can share.
