What are the chances of approval for a DTV visa after multiple border runs to Cambodia, and should I consider applying for an ED visa instead?
I did 3 border runs to cambodia. Now want to apply for DTV under soft power / remote work. How high are my approval chances? Should I go for ED visa instead?
Answer summary
The chances of getting a DTV visa after multiple border runs to Cambodia are generally considered good, as previous border runs do not impact the approval of the DTV application. The key factors for approval will be the completeness of the application and meeting the financial requirements stipulated by the embassy. Some users recommend applying from your home country for a smoother process. Alternatively, if you are considering the ED visa, it may be worth exploring, but the DTV seems to be a viable option.

Your border runs won't affect your application. If you get denied, it will be because of insufficient money or that your chosen DTV activity doesn't require 5 years or access, according to the embassy you apply at.

As long as you meet the requirements, you won't have any problem at all! Good luck for your application! If you want be sure to get it quickly, I would advise you to apply from your country, it will help you a lot.

Your previous border runs will make no difference at all. You’ll still have no problems being approved for a DTV visa providing your put in a solid application and fill out the forms properly.
I’m speaking from experience. I had 11 years history of all types of visa and border runs and was approved for the DTV
