Good morning!
I am going to extend my STV visa in mid March and currently collecting all my documents. While doing that I notice that I didn’t receive a ASQ certificate by the department of Disease control and only have my negative covid Test result. I entered Thailand in December thru the Test and Go scheme. After contacting my hotel they told me that they only give certificate to people who do 10 day quarantine and people from test and go don’t need it.
Is this true? Because it’s very much written in the STV extension documents list as a must and now I am very unsure. Has someone extended their STV and enter with test and go as well and did not have the Certificate? Should I be pressing the matter more with the hotel?
Thank you for your help.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is preparing to extend their STV visa and is concerned about not having an ASQ certificate, which they believe is required for the extension. They entered Thailand using the Test and Go scheme and have only received a negative COVID-19 test result. Other users in the comments share similar experiences, indicating that their hotels provided either no certificate or alternatives, leading to confusion regarding the documentation needed for the STV extension.
