Can I extend my retirement visa in Thailand using the visa extension service?
Has anybody used the visa extension service? I wonder if I can extend my retirement visa.
Summary so far
The discussion centers around the visa extension service in Thailand, particularly regarding retirement visas. Several comments indicate confusion about the service's availability and reliability, noting that it may have been discontinued or primarily serves tourist visas. There are reports of both successes and frustrations with appointments, especially in Pattaya and Bangkok.

there are free extension appointments still. Except in Pattaya and a few other offices. And there are also a few offices where you can get an appointment but once you get to the office they ignore it. In Bangkok they work well though.
