Do I need to update my TM30 form for a DTV visa before my 90-day reporting?

Hi guys, I'm about to have to do my 90 day reporting. I've got a TM30 form from the previous time I did it, however that was before I had a DTV visa. So I'm wondering if I need to have my TM30 form updated to show that I am now on a DTV visa. Hoping someone here might know the answer to this! Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM30 form should be updated whenever you re-enter Thailand, and it is important for your current visa status. If your previous TM30 is still valid and covers your current address and lease duration, you can use it for your 90-day report. However, for official documents or if your address has changed, you must have an updated TM30 that matches your current visa. Responses from community members indicate that practices may vary depending on the immigration office.

I was on tourist visas last year when I signed a 12 month lease on a flat.

Entered Thailand last month on dtv.

Needed a resident cert to buy a bike. I used the same tm30 from last year. No issues getting the resident cert

Needs to be current and up to date

The type of visa you are on has nothing to do with the TM30, only your entry into Thailand, and when you change addresses.

Depends on the immigration office.

Technically you should update your tm30 everytime you re-enter. If it's just the 90 day report and your old tm 30 address is still the same and covers the current dates(as in you had a 1 or 2 year lease and they put the tm30 term for the entire time) you can use it for your 90 day report, but if you need a residency document or something more official the tm30 will need to match your current visa stamp.

You should have a new TM30 for when you re-entered
