TLDR : Answer Summary
For the first 90-day reporting in Thailand, you must go to the immigration office corresponding to the address on your TM30 registration. This initial report must be done in person. While subsequent reports can theoretically be conducted online, the first report after entering Thailand must always be completed in person. Note that most Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) holders do not typically need to make a second report unless they re-enter the country after their 180-day stay.

At the nearest immigration office corresponding to the address on your TM30. You must do it in person each first time you enter Thailand. In other words, almost no DTV holders can do it online unless they are extending their visa with immigration and remain in Thailand.

First time at immigration. When you leave the country it resets, and next time is first again

First reporting: go to the immigration office that your TM30 is registered in.

In theory, subsequent reporting can be done online BUT your first reporting after you enter the country must always be done in person. Since most DTV holders don't seek an extension, they don't need a second 90 day report. When they re-enter after their 180 days, they'll need to do 90 day reporting in person again.
