Hello, so I'm on a 6month METV and today I'm returning to Thailand after my first trip out for my first 60days.

My question is about the card that I got when I signed my lease at my condo. I was told by the leasing agent that every time I leave and come back I need to go back to immigration.

If this is true what do I need to provide on this visit? Also I'm only back at my condo in Jomtien for a day then I am going up to Chiang Mai to visit does this have to be done within a time period from when I get back into Thailand?

Thanks for the help!

TLDR : Answer Summary
When returning to Thailand on a 6-month METV, you need to update your address with immigration due to the requirement after signing your lease. This update should be done within 24 hours of arriving back in the province, although a few grace days may be permitted. No special forms are needed unless you plan to request an extension later.

Supposed to be within 24 hours of arriving back in the province after entering Thailand. They usually allow a few days though. You really only need it if you will do an extension of some kind. If not then it doesn't really matter.

Jomtien want you to come to update the address with the new Departure card number. There are no special form needed.

@Robert ******
they are happy with the TM30 form, and copy of rental agreement and Owner ID and foreigner passport...nothing more than that

But yes they have asked me every time...only takes 5 minutes to lodge so not a big deal

Initially the leasing company did it for me. They just took my passport over and brought it back the next day

So they want you to make everytime a complete new registration with TM30 form, copy ID and Blue book house owner, both signed by owner and copy passport?
Glen *********
Jomtien asked me for TM30 every return trip, withing 24 hours...twice in the past 3 months

They don’t even give you queue number without the correct form, correctly completed, and with the attached docs
