Morning guys. Advise please. Here on a 6 METV, US passport. Traveling out of Thailand to HK and returning via CNX. Are the 3 proofs necessary for re-entry.?

Additionally, I’m staying in a condo in Jomtien, but my first 24 hours upon returning from HK will be in Chiang Mai. I’ll arrive in Jomtien the next afternoon. Will I have to report at immigration in Jomtien that same day.?

Thank you for the guidance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A US passport holder on a 6-month Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV) is advised that while three proofs of funds may not be strictly enforced, it's recommended to have proof of funds available just in case. Upon returning to Thailand, the traveler has a 24-hour window to report at immigration after arriving at their designated residence (in this case, Jomtien). It's noted that Jomtien immigration tends to be lenient regarding the reporting timeframe.

From my experience with Jomtien they are a little lenient on the 24 hrs

You are highly unlikely to be asked for ANY of the 3-proof-ofz when flying into the country on a 6 month METV (however you certainly could be asked). I would say have proof of funds just in case (as that's the main one they ask for IF they're gonna ask for anything).

You have 24 hours from when you arrive at where ever it is you call home to go file your TM.30 (if that immigration office requires it AND jomtien does). So you have until the next day after you arrive in Jomtien to file it
