My tourist visa expires tomorrow but I can't leave the country as I am waiting for a new passport to arrive.  Does anyone know if I need to have the expired tourist visa transferred to my new passport before I leave the country? Thanks

If your tourist visa expires while waiting for a new passport, you do not need to transfer the expired visa. You can take both your old and new passports to the airport, pay any overstay fines, and proceed with exiting the country.

nope, as soon as you get your new passport, you take BOTH passports to the airport, pay the overstay fine, get the overstay stamp, stamp out of the country and leave..
