Dear community,
I am contemplating to apply for a DTV softpower Visa.
I wanted to commit to a six month course but read a few testimonies that, when re-entering Thailand, some were asked to show a valid course.
So I am wondering if I should rather find a 1 year or 2 years option in order to travel in and out without worrying about this.
My question: Was any of you asked to show a proof of a valid course when re-entering Thailand after the first 6 month?
I would be very grateful for some insights and advice.
Thank you
TLDR : Answer Summary
The community suggests that re-entering Thailand on a DTV Soft Power Visa usually does not require proof of ongoing enrollment in a course. While most individuals have not been asked for documentation on re-entry, there is uncertainty about future policies, as immigration rules can change. Some recommend considering a longer course duration for peace of mind and to keep records of previous courses just in case. Overall, it seems safe to assume that immediate proof is not typically necessary, but staying informed and prepared is advised.
